DEBBIE CUNNINGHAM (R.A.D CBTS)

Debbie started dancing at the age of three and was a pupil at the Mollie Mayhew School of Dancing in Northampton. Debbie studied RAD Ballet, ISTD National, Greek, Modern and Tap achieving good examination results in all subjects.

Debbie competed in many dance competitions throughout the Midlands and performed in two pantomime seasons at the Northampton Repertory Theatre in the mid 1970's. Debbie went on to teach ballet in Northamptonshire for several years.

She has assisted at the Manor School of Ballet for the last 16 years at exams and with the Galashiels bi-annual show and now teaches at the Galashiels Branch. In 2003/04, Debbie attained distinction in the RAD advanced classical ballet graded examinations in Grades 6, 7 and 8 awards. She is currently refreshing her teaching qualifications and is completing her RAD Certificate in Ballet teaching Studies.

Debbie has a Bsc (Hon) in Social Policy and a Diploma in Health and Social Welfare with Open University. She also works as a Tenancy Support Co-ordinator for a local Scottish Borders Housing Association.
