TERMS AND CONDITIONS

FEES

All fees are payable in advance of the 3 block start dates which take place during the year. This secures a pupils place in the class as non payments or late payments will result in instant withdrawal from the class. Please note that in some branches this may mean rejoining the school waiting list.

ABSENCES

Absences may be credited for 3 or more consecutive lessons, if prior notice has been given in writing.

WITHDRAWAL

Pupils are required to provide 6 weeks notice if withdrawing from any class. The Directors reserve the right to ask any pupil to leave if deemed necessary.

DRESS CODE

All pupils must dress appropriately for class at all times.
Long hair must be worn in a bun and short hair in a hair band with fringes clipped back.
No jewellery will be worn in class.
No outdoor clothing or footwear will be worn in class.
Only approved Manor School Uniform will be acceptable.
Teachers reserve the right to refuse a pupil from class when inappropriately dressed.

EXAMINATION AND PRESENTATION CLASSES

Parents are advised in writing when a pupil is due for an Examination or Presentation. The Royal Academy of Dance Presentations are conducted from Grade 1. It is compulsory for pupils wishing to sit their Presentation to attend extra coaching lessons, details of which are given out with entry forms.

The Royal Academy of Dance Examinations and extra coaching classes are only offered to selected pupils from Grade 3 standard or at the teacher's discretion.

The Directors reserve the right to withdraw any pupil from any Examination or Presentation during the preparation time without any refund.

PROPERTY

Property or belongings of a pupil are brought to and/or left at the school entirely at the pupils own risk. The Directors regret that liability cannot be accepted for loss or damage to any property or belongings. We would advise pupils to have all belongings clearly named.

SCHOOL TERMS AND HOLIDAYS

The school year is divided into 3 Blocks of 12 weeks.
As public holiday dates differ, we do not observe any of the Monday holidays.
We do however close for Christmas, Easter and summer holidays and 2 mid-term holiday breaks of 1 week each in February and October.
